Starting tomorrow, we will try to answer the question everyone seems to be asking these days: "What's Wrong With "American Idol"? The once luxury liner of TV shows has run into tempest waters this season and some fear the ship is actually about to meet the same fate as "The Titanic". The reasons for this season's rough ride are plentiful, and we will endeavor to pinpoint them and offer some assistance on how the "Idol" franchise might avoid what seems likely to signal the end of its golden voyage.
The "Jukebox Hero" will run down the history of "Idol", its characters, its contributions to the music industry, and why, we think, the show has began to decline in terms of quality entertainment, if, in fact, one can safely say it has true quality entertainment value at all.
